Buyers feel slightly uncomfortable looking at bathrooms while touring homes. Our home stagers easily made the bathroom at 140 Candlebrook Drive, a house in Whitby, seem more spacious with proper cleaning, accessory-placement and lighting.
Our home stagers used a monochromatic colour scheme in the bathroom to create an illusion of a larger space. Soft, pale and neutral colours were selected for walls and flooring. Large rugs wre used to cover dark or unflattering floor tiles.
Mirrors were used to create an illusion of expansion without adding a single square foot. We replaced a bulky medicine chest with a wall mirror, and placed a full length mirror behind the door.
The choice of lighting is crucial in a bathroom. In this case, bright lighting was required to create the perception of a bigger, cleaner bathroom.
140 Candlebrook Drive was staged to sell in 24 hours for $55,000 over asking price by Design to Impress, Toronto’s home staging company.
